The Atascosa County Commissioners Court on July 13 approved monitoring contracts with Security Integrated Inc. to provide intrusion monitoring and surveillance at the fire marshal’s office and the Justice of the Peace precinct 4 facility to meet CJIS audit requirements.
Justin Boskus, the county IT representative, told the court the agreements would bring the two facilities into compliance, noting JP 4 already has cameras but lacked an alarm and the fire marshal's office had neither surveillance nor an alarm. The court approved the monitoring contracts and authorized the county judge to sign pending county attorney review.
After returning from executive session, the court approved vendor payments to cover hauling and materials. The court approved two invoices from 90 Transport (Invoice 17875 for $2,750 and Invoice 17874 for $27,000, totaling $29,750) and a set of Colorado Materials invoices (Invoice 433755 for $15,005.81, Invoice 434172 for $2,610.85, Invoice 434173 for $17,329.40, and Invoice 434625 for $3,960, totaling $39,481.75). Commissioners voted to carry each motion.
The court also approved payroll claim number 22 ($34,520.22) and claim number 86 ($797,414.09) as presented.
Justin Boskus said the monitoring pricing was competitive and that he had forwarded contracts to the county attorney for review prior to signature. The court recorded motions and carried the votes by voice; detailed roll‑call tallies were not captured in the public transcript.
Commissioners directed staff to execute the contracts and process approved invoices through the auditor’s office for payment.
