Planning Board schedules Dec. 4 public hearing for three-lot subdivision on Sarvis Lane

The Town of Newburgh Planning Board voted on Nov. 6 to schedule a public hearing for Dec. 4, 2025, on a three-lot subdivision application from Fana Development LLC (project 25-21) on Sarvis Lane.
Jonathan Millen, the applicant’s representative, described revisions including a widened driveway area between lots one and three, septic-system details and limits-of-disturbance calculations. Pat Hines of MHE told the board the limits of disturbance are 0.93 acres (under one acre) but requested that plans include a surveyor’s stamp and an explicit stakeout note to ensure the project remains under one acre. "The limits of disturbance was discussed. It's at 0.93 acres, less than one acre," Hines said.
Dominic Cordisco, the Planning Board attorney, recommended scheduling a public hearing; John A. Ward moved, Lisa Carver seconded and the board voted unanimously to place the hearing on the Dec. 4 agenda. The hearing will allow the board to consider any public comments before action on the subdivision.
