TAMWORTH — The Tamworth Planning Board rejected as incomplete an Eversource scenic‑road application for tree trimming and removal at its April 22 meeting after staff did not receive a digital submission required for review.
Andy Fisher told the board he had emailed Eversource to request the missing materials but had not received a response. Andy Fisher moved to reject the application as incomplete; Matt Dunn seconded the motion and the board approved the rejection.
Board members noted the need to revise the town's regulations to specify what happens when an application is rejected, including fee and resubmission procedures. No representative of Eversource attended the meeting to present the application.
Because the application covers multiple sites across town, the rejection pauses any local action on tree trimming and removal until Eversource resubmits the required documents and the board can schedule a complete hearing.
