Select Board appoints Paul King to lead Tamworth–Albany perambulation

At the April 28 meeting, Paul King requested authorization to serve as agent for two town perambulations (Tamworth–Madison, already completed, and the upcoming Tamworth–Albany). King presented five copies of the perambulation paperwork for signatures and gave a temporary copy to Finance Officer/Assessing Clerk Michaela Therrien.
King explained the statutory timing: perambulations occur every seven years. Chair Karl Behr moved to appoint King to perform the Tamworth–Albany perambulation; Emery Roberts seconded and the board voted by roll call: Behr yes, Roberts yes, Doucette yes. The appointment passed unanimously.
King said typical participation ranges from about five people up to 20 and that authorization was requested so the team could coordinate and schedule the walk along the town boundary.
