Charlie Hampson, Highway Supervisor, asked the Board of Selectmen to approve purchase of a wing for the smaller highway truck at a cost of $16,870. Hampson said the funds would come from his salt line, which currently has available money following a nationwide salt shortage. He told the board the wing should reduce route time.
Arthur Boutin moved to approve the purchase; Brian Higgins seconded and "all were in favor." The board authorized the expenditure from the salt account.
