Diamond Head — The Diamond Head City Council on July 1 unanimously approved several reappointments, adopted administrative resolutions reaffirming compensation for fiscal year 2025 and engaged outside legal counsel.
Mayor Lisi opened the meeting and the council moved through a series of consent and appointment items that drew only brief remarks. A resolution reappointing John McCraw as city manager was moved, seconded and approved by roll call. Council members offered short commendations: one member said, “I think you did a great job the first time, John,” and others echoed praise.
The council also reappointed Jeannie Klein as city clerk, Tammy Garber as deputy city clerk, Lisa McLean as municipal court clerk and Robert Hayes Johnson as municipal court judge. In addition, members voted to engage the Cusick & Williams law firm to serve as the city attorney and city prosecutor, and adopted a resolution reaffirming FY25 compensation schedules for city employees.
