A meeting participant reported that bridge-system staff arranged impromptu visits for national reporters, including The Washington Post, The New York Times and Reuters, and that those reporters were impressed by local operations. Staff organized multiple tours for summit attendees and investor delegations; Arturo said the city will follow up with potential clients and continue outreach through planned marketing and public-information efforts.

Separately, a participant asked that the public information office be used to notify companies about a January rate increase; staff said they will coordinate with the marketing department to plan outreach and disseminate information to affected businesses.

The committee did not record formal actions tied to contracts or incentives at this meeting; staff said follow-up and lead tracking will continue and that engineering and management will report back on related infrastructure items as necessary.
