"While the demand for these resources continues to grow, the total funding available for allocation was approximately 2,100,000," the presenter said.
Commissioners thanked committee members for their work and discussed next steps for partially funded or unfunded agencies. One commissioner urged staff to include recommendations for additional general-fund or Development Corporation support during the city’s budget process so agencies that received less than requested could be considered for other funding sources.
The commission moved and approved the annual action plan ordinance on the consent agenda. Staff said the recommendations will be incorporated into the general budget and Development Corporation funding deliberations, and that additional adjustments may be considered during that process.
