Committee members questioned whether the specific hours were needed because those limits had been adopted as a precaution and other road users, such as motorcycles, already operate at night and can be louder. Members said noise issues remain subject to police enforcement.
Michelle Streetman moved and Sean Falk seconded a recommendation to the Board to eliminate section (c)(6) of Sec. 28-15 (the hours restriction). The motion carried, with Kay Zuleger abstaining.
