At its July meeting, the Fargo Airport Authority approved several operational motions and received construction updates.
Routine approvals: The board approved a limited FBO agreement for Hangar 19 and a ground-lease for a 100x100 hangar north of Rydell on voice votes. The board also approved a time-and-material contract for installing a commissioned mosaic wall (after credits to the GMP were applied) and affirmed a signage review. The RFPs for banking and legal services were authorized for issuance; marketing RFP timing will follow staff coordination after conference attendance and internal role adjustments.
Construction and grants: Staff reported terminal expansion at ~67% completion on the west side; parking ramp is nearly done but the team has an active warranty claim with an elevator supplier (Elevate) that may affect warranty remediation steps. An ATP grant of about $1,000,000 remains unsigned, delaying procurement of HVAC units for boarding bridges until execution.
Next steps: Staff will proceed with contract administration for the approved items, continue warranty resolution with contractors and return with any changes to the schedule or budget.
