Vernon staff to follow up after report of multiple dogs killing neighbor's chickens

Staff member (S2) proposed creating an animal‑control Facebook page for informational notices, postings about lost pets and event announcements; the suggestion was presented as an outreach tool rather than an enforcement mechanism.
Council members asked staff to proceed and to return with recommended next steps and any enforcement options that comply with city code.
