Bonduel board adopts sewer CMAR, updates equipment rates and approves telecom contracts; two liquor applications delayed

The Village of Bonduel Village Board took several routine but consequential actions at its June 10, 2026 meeting, approving the village’s 2025 Compliance Maintenance Annual Report (CMAR), adopting updated equipment rental rates for Municipal Operations, and authorizing new telephone and internet service contracts.
The board introduced and approved Resolution 2026-09, accepting the 2025 CMAR on the condition as presented; a roll-call vote recorded all ayes. The CMAR assesses the health and condition of the village sewer collection system; the board did not discuss specific corrective projects at the meeting.
Trustee Kay Zuleger moved, Trustee Sean Falk seconded and the board introduced and approved Resolution 2026-10 to update Municipal Operations equipment rental rates; a roll-call vote recorded all ayes.
To replace an expiring service agreement, the board approved internet services through TDS and Voice over Internet Protocol services through Corporate Network Solutions; the Bertram Wireless service agreement is set to expire in August and the board directed staff to effect the change before that expiration to avoid service interruption.
On liquor-license renewals, the clerk reported that two establishments — Captain’s Axe and Arcade — had not submitted applications and remained outstanding. The board approved other renewals, deferred action on those two applicants until the July meeting and instructed the affected establishment to remove beer from public view until applications are processed.
The board also approved appointments (including Bob Wendt Jr. to continue as Chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals and Lisa Hughes to the Redevelopment Authority), authorized monthly payments for June and approved the May 2026 Treasurer’s report. The board adjourned at 6:47 p.m.
