The Village of Bonduel Committee of the Whole on May 27 recommended that the Village Board approve a memorandum of understanding with Shawano County to resurface County Road BE (also known locally as Green Bay Street) within Village limits in 2028. The County will resurface the travel lanes; the Village will be responsible for work outside the travel lanes and was given an estimated share of $181,905.
Committee member Kay Zuleger moved to recommend approval of the MOU and Brenda Staszak seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
The recommended MOU, as discussed, would allow Shawano County to perform lane resurfacing while assigning responsibility for adjacent work to the Village; the Committee did not attach additional conditions during the meeting. The recommendation will be forwarded to the Village Board for formal consideration and any funding decisions the Board must make.
