Commission approves minutes, schedules Schoolhouse Meadow planting and advances trail mapping

The Temple Conservation Commission approved its May 13, 2026 minutes and then turned to regular updates at the June 10 meeting at the Town Hall Annex. Scott Hecker, Chair, moved to accept the minutes; Clay Lennartz seconded and the motion passed "all in favor." Minutes were later submitted by Cathy Joly.
Clay Lennartz reported that woodchips for the Schoolhouse Meadow planting had been delivered and that Marie Lennartz’s plants were ready; Beth Preston’s ordered plants had not yet arrived. Members decided to plant what is currently available on Saturday, June 20 at 8 a.m.
On trail work, Scott Hecker and Mike Madden said they would meet within the next week to complete mapping the East Road section of the Fisk Hill Trail. Cathy Joly said she will attempt to extract the NRI maps from the website via screenshots. The record shows no new business and the meeting adjourned at 7:11 p.m. after Marie Lennartz moved to adjourn and Scott Hecker seconded.
