Board ratifies storm emergency declaration and approves routine salary and retirement actions

The York County Board of Commissioners amended its agenda and ratified an emergency declaration related to recent storms during the July 15 meeting, and the county’s salary and retirement boards completed routine business including personnel and retirement‑payment actions.

The buyback covered two years of service (05/31/2002–05/30/2004) with a county portion of $11,688.10 and a member portion of $11,688.10 for a total purchase amount of $23,376.20; that motion passed by voice vote.
