The State Board of Finance voted to add project I-5350 (Mescalero Apache Senior Center) to the list of projects authorized to receive general obligation bond funding. Staff said the recipient authority reversed an earlier declination, due diligence was complete and the amount would fund acquisition and equipping of a vehicle for the senior center. The motion passed by roll call.
Board members also received informational briefings: an updated annual financial information filing (staff noted Moody'9s upgraded the state to Aa1), General Services Department reports on capital buildings repair and legislative capital projects, the State Treasurer'9s investment report showing about $19.5 billion in assets under management and monthly investment income of roughly $59.8 million, and monthly reports on JPAs and custodial bank fees.
Director Leach summarized emergency-fund balances and projected remaining operating reserve after the Luna grant, and said Deputy Director Jeanette Gallegos will manage emergency funding reporting improvements.
