The board voted to award the Department of Corrections sprinkler-head replacement contract to Impact Fire Services LLC for up to $135,000 as recommended by facilities staff. Commissioners approved public meeting minutes for July 2, 2026, and passed surplus-equipment declarations (computers and a Frigidaire refrigerator) under New Hampshire RSA 28:8-a.
Financial actions included approval of two accounts-payable lists (FY2026: $1,218,517.70; FY2027: $1,047,883.15) and authorization of payroll totaling $1,807,500.21 for the period ending July 11, 2026. The board also approved a line-item transfer of $277,122 from nursing-home therapy-contracts to nursing staff and a smaller transfer of $8,123 to assistive-living meal supplies.
The board denied a request to waive the fee for use of the Hilton facility for a three-day event (Oct. 2–4, 2026) by the New Hampshire Chiropractic Association, citing concerns that exclusive weekend use would limit resident and family access and that staffing and building security would be strained.
Other approvals included an amended one-year preventive-maintenance contract with Precision Fitness Equipment (annual cap $975), a per-diem wage schedule revision effective July 16, 2026, a position-title change in long-term care services, and a one-year agreement with Granite State Music Therapy (about $60,000) to provide music-therapy services for residents. The board also approved a maintenance waiver with AccuTemp Engineering and authorized the sheriff’s FY2027 equitable-sharing agreement and certification.
The board entered nonpublic session under the cited RSA provision, later returned to public session and voted to seal portions of the nonpublic minutes indefinitely because of reputational considerations. The meeting adjourned following those votes.
