Jill Breuer reported to the board on first-quarter Calls for Service and 911 statistics, saying total calls for service are up slightly compared with the same period last year while overtime hours have decreased. Breuer told commissioners the communications center currently has one open position and one staff member in training.
Breuer also gave a brief account of her presentation at a five-county meeting last week and distributed both the quarter's statistics and an overtime report to commissioners. No formal action followed the report.
