The Lisbon City Council authorized the Lisbon Recreation Board to apply for a five-year loan of up to $70,000 to support planned improvements at Sandager Park.
Rec Board President Sara Lyons presented an update on the Sandager Field improvements. Council Member LyDell Mairs moved to allow the Rec Board to apply for a five-year, $70,000 loan if necessary; Sandy Hoff seconded the motion and the minutes record the outcome as "All Aye." The minutes do not include loan terms, a lending institution, or a schedule for drawing funds; they record only the council's authorization to apply for the loan.
During the same meeting the council approved the 2025 liquor license for BK Lao Thai Kitchen, pending state licensing approval, and approved off-site liquor licenses for two Expo events (Lisbon Bissell Golf Course wedding dance on Nov. 15 and Cattleman’s Club CHI Gala on Nov. 21). The minutes also list several raffle and gaming permit approvals and multiple building permits approved by the code administrator.
