Middletown Planning Commission: motions and appointment recommended on Aug. 26
Summary
At its Aug. 26 meeting the Planning Commission unanimously set the agenda, approved July 15 minutes, approved a scope for the Comprehensive Plan update and authorized consultant distribution, entered a closed session, and recommended Mr. Plummer for appointment to the commission.
The Town of Middletown Planning Commission took a series of unanimous, procedural actions at its Aug. 26, 2024 meeting.
Motions and outcomes recorded in the meeting minutes include:
• Set the meeting agenda as presented (moved by Commissioner William Kircher; seconded by Vice Chair Rebecca Anderson; unanimous).
• Approved the July 15, 2024 Planning Commission meeting minutes (moved by Commissioner Angela Morelock; seconded by Commissioner Anthony Boring; unanimous).
• Approved the staff-revised scope for the Comprehensive Plan update and authorized distribution to Berkley Group, EPR-pc, and Summit Design (moved by Vice Chair Rebecca Anderson; seconded by Commissioner Angela Morelock; unanimous).
• Entered a closed session (motion by Vice Chair Rebecca Anderson; seconded by Commissioner Anthony Boring). The motions to enter, exit, and certify the closed session are attached to the minutes.
• Upon returning to open session, the commission recommended that Mr. Plummer be appointed to the Planning Commission (moved by Vice Chair Rebecca Anderson; seconded by Commissioner William Kircher; unanimous).
All motions were recorded as carried by the commissioners present. The commission adjourned at 9:22 p.m.
