Knox County commissioners approve APAC appointments, sign mutual-aid agreement and transfer $2,222 to retirement reserve

Ratner moved to reappoint Jan Gaudio to the South Thomaston seat and Roger Peabody to the District 2 seat on the Airport Public Advisory Committee (APAC) and to appoint Matthew Graveline to the Airport Business seat. Commissioner Edward B. Glaser seconded the motions; each motion passed with a 2-0 vote.
The commission also voted to approve and sign the 2026 Maine County Emergency Management Mutual Aid Agreement, again on a motion by Ratner and a second by Glaser. The agreement was entered into the record as approved; the transcript records the commission’s action but does not include text of the agreement in the minutes.
Separately, commissioners approved a transfer of $2,222.00 from the Resignation and Termination account to Retirement Reserve accounts. The transfer was presented as an administrative finance item and carried on the same 2-0 vote.
