The Washington County Land Use and Planning Committee approved the final plat for the Dublin Downs subdivision in the Town of Erin and will forward the item to the county board.
Hannah from the Community Development Department presented the plat, describing Dublin Downs as a proposed six-lot, two-outlot subdivision totaling about 33.7 acres with one access onto State Highway 83 and lots served by private wells and on-site septic. She said the City of Hartford had approved extraterritorial plat review and that the town plan commission reviewed the final plat on July 13; some minutes were not yet posted. The committee heard that contingencies from the preliminary plat had been satisfied based on final plat review and developer coordination.
Supervisors asked technical questions about required elevation notes related to stormwater, a driveway relocation affecting a southern parcel and coordination with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Hannah explained the DOT had required access-easement adjustments to manage safety and access and that the subdivider would provide an easement and gravel work to accommodate potential driveway relocation.
Supervisor Krebs moved to approve the final plat (contingent on required town and state approvals); the motion carried and the item will be forwarded to the county board for final action.
Next step: county board consideration pending required town of Erin and state approvals and easement agreements with DOT.
