North Bay Board of Review appoints chair and vice-chair, unanimously votes to recess until June 15

At the Village of North Bay Board of Review meeting on May 11, 2026, Constable Rocco Castellano nominated President Roger Mellem to serve as chair of the 2026 Board of Review; Trustee Rick Cermak seconded the nomination and the board voted unanimously to appoint Mellem.
Castellano then nominated Trustee Paul Schroeder to serve as vice-chair; Trustee Rick Cermak seconded and Schroeder was appointed by unanimous vote. Clerk Dori A. Panthofer verified that she and Treasurer Robert E. O'Brien have completed the annual mandatory Board of Review training and that affidavits were submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue website.
The board set a recess to resume the Board of Review at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 15, 2026. Constable Castellano moved to recess and Trustee Paul Schroeder seconded; the motion passed unanimously. Clerk Panthofer noted the statutory requirement for a two-hour review session during which no other business may be conducted; the June Board of Trustees meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:05 PM following the BOR recess or adjournment.
