The Salem Township Planning Commission voted Sept. 4 to advertise a special meeting in the first two weeks of October to discuss proposed amendments to the township’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO).
The commission approved a motion by Paul Holleran, seconded by Connie Mattei, to hold a special meeting on a date to be agreed by the Planning Commission members. The commission said the advertisement for the special meeting will be placed 7–10 days prior to the meeting and that the revised draft of the SALDO will be available at that time. Resident John Write asked whether materials would be distributed to the public for review prior to the meeting.
The commission set the timing and directed that public notice and availability of the revision follow the 7–10 day advertisement schedule. The commission adjourned at 6:58 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for Oct. 2, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., if there is an agenda.
