The Finance, Personnel & Safety Committee voted to forward vouchers to the full Council with three specific questions and to postpone discussion of the Remote Work Policy.
A motion by Committee member Pat Prill, seconded by Committee member Dennis Treimstra, sent the vouchers to the Council and listed three follow-up items: clarification of a Visa charge for $771.40, clarification of a MasterCard charge for $81, and confirmation of whether Dec. 19, 2025, was the last voucher for the Water & Sewer Department. The motion carried. The minutes record the questions but do not include answers; the Committee left resolution of those queries to the Council or staff follow-up.
On personnel matters, the Committee discussed proposed part-time pay increases and requested that the Clerk provide a current list of part-time employees, their wages, and the date of each employee's last wage increase for the January council meeting. An overtime request submitted by the Clerk was discussed and deferred to the full Council so the Clerk can be present to answer questions.
Committee members also approved, by motion of Joseph Kazda with a second from Pat Prill, conducting interviews for the Deputy Clerk position as a Committee of the Whole. The motion carried.
The minutes do not provide detailed wage figures beyond the two credit-card charges noted above, nor do they record vote tallies for the motions.
