Whitney Hodges, the city’s planning manager, presented the plat and said the subdivision meets setback and lot‑width requirements, that water and sewer are available, and that staff recommends approval conditioned on the bond being posted prior to recording. Hodges told commissioners the application includes two new public roads and standard subdivision information in the staff packet.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the final plat and accept the $338,000 bond; another commissioner seconded the motion. The commission called the roll and approved the motion by unanimous voice/roll call.
The commission’s action authorizes final plat approval contingent on bond posting; staff will verify that the bond has been posted and that required infrastructure is completed before the plat is recorded.
