TCEQ acknowledges gifts, approves enforcement docket totaling $1.62 million

Yoon Tran (S14) of the general law division presented the list of gifts and donations accepted in the prior 90 days under chapter 575 of the Government Code and asked the commission to acknowledge the ED's acceptance. The Office of Public Interest Counsel informed the commission it had reviewed the approvals and did not object.
Megan Hamilton (S16) of the Enforcement Division presented items 7 through 60, reporting total assessed administrative penalties of $1,620,413, with $244,207.27 deferred, $561,143 applied toward supplemental environmental projects, and $815,043 to general revenue. Commissioners thanked staff for enforcement work and approved the enforcement items as recommended by the executive director by voice vote.
