The Lodi Area EMS Commission on Feb. 11 approved its meeting agenda and the Dec. 17, 2025 minutes and deferred payment for the 2025 audit while staff and the auditing firm finalize the scope of work.
Chair Nancy Long opened the meeting at 6:04 p.m. The commission approved the agenda on a 6–0 vote after a motion by Commissioner John Ungrodt and a second from Commissioner Kevin Kessler. The commission later approved the minutes from Dec. 17, 2025 on a 6–0 vote after a motion by Kessler and a second from Commissioner Brandon Flanagan.
Treasurer Kevin Kessler and Interim Chief Amie Brown told the commission that Brown has purchased QuickBooks Cloud and expects to catch up on financial records next month. Brown said volunteers and staff (Caden, Tracy and Landon) organized paperwork needed for the audit. The auditing firm Kerber Rose communicated with Nancy Long and Kevin Kessler about the audit scope and will help organize documentation for the current and future audits.
Commissioners discussed payment for the audit but chose to table the payment for now; the item was left for future consideration so staff and the auditor can clarify scope and documentation needs. The commission also noted an end-of-year financial report for 2025 and that additional financial details will be presented at a future meeting.
The commission set its next meeting for March 18, 2026. No vote was taken on the audit payment at the Feb. 11 meeting.
