Colton Joint Unified welcomes new principals and assistant principals at multiple sites

The Colton Joint Unified School District introduced five new site leaders at Thursday’s board meeting, where trustees applauded the hires and the new administrators addressed the board and community.
Dr. Dade presented the appointments and described each leader’s background. Janine Carrasco will lead Crestmore Elementary and said she is committed to serving students and the wider school community. Rochelle Robinson will be principal at Grand Terrace Elementary and thanked district leaders for the opportunity. Sheldon Paris is the new assistant principal at Colton High School; Wendy McClung will serve as assistant principal for adult and alternative education at Washington High School and said she was excited to “transform lives in Colton Joint Unified.” Songju Limaxi (who goes by S.J.) will be assistant principal at Lewis Elementary and introduced herself alongside family members in the audience.
Board members and the superintendent congratulated each administrator and asked the public to welcome them at their schools this fall.
