City Attorney Mark confirmed the statutory requirement is met when the agenda item is posted, but commissioners said the public should have the substantive attachments available online. Commissioners asked staff to post the revised packet and to allow a short window for colleagues to submit suggested changes. The mayor encouraged commissioners to send edits to the city attorney by Friday so staff could compile a consolidated draft.
The motion to table the ordinance passed so the public may review the updated packet and the commission can consider edits at a future meeting. The item will return with a posted packet and any consolidated commissioner proposals.
