Resolution 25-20 (122nd Street Water Main Project): The board approved a resolution authorizing levy of special assessments on benefited properties for the 122nd Street water-main extension; the staff presentation estimated total assessments at $856,776.37 (frontage $765,901.39; laterals $90,874.98) and described deferred-assessment activation criteria (connection, subdivision, or issuance of a building permit).
Retail alcohol license — Pleasant Prairie Shell: The board approved RS Wisconsin Inc., d/b/a Pleasant Prairie Shell (12717 Sheridan Road) for a Class A beer and Class A cider-only retail license with Robert Stambolic named as agent. Clerk Jane reported background checks, residency and beverage-training requirements were satisfied; issuance was conditioned on an occupancy permit and payment of fees and publication costs.
Ordinance 25-40 (amendment to Chapter 98-5): The board adopted an ordinance amending the Village Board order of business to add a standing presentation/recognition item early in meetings to better accommodate employees and guests.
Contract award — 122nd Street Water Main: Following bid review staff recommended awarding the construction contract to Globe Contractors (low bid $3,433,739.75). The board approved the contract award and staff said funding is provided by TID 5 and the 2025 capital improvement plan. Pending permitting, staff expects to begin construction in November.
