Randleman sets holiday parade, employee lunch and year-end office closures
Summary
The board heard routine manager and mayor updates including the Randleman Christmas Parade on Dec. 5, 2024, an employee Christmas lunch on Dec. 13, and year-end city office closures Dec. 24–27 and Jan. 1, 2025.
At the Nov. 6 meeting the Board of Aldermen received routine department updates and several calendar announcements.
Interim City Manager Shain Sexton reported that department directors briefed the board. Announcements included the Randleman Christmas Parade on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024 beginning at 7:00 p.m.; an employee Christmas lunch Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Worthville Community Center; and city office closures for half-day Dec. 24 and Dec. 25–27, 2024, and closed on Jan. 1, 2025.
With no further business, Alderman Steve Grooms moved to adjourn; Alderwoman Melissa Allred Blalock seconded and the motion was unanimously approved.
