The board approved the February 11 meeting minutes and then approved the General Fund, Activities and Hot Lunch accounts. Motions to approve the minutes and the bills were made and seconded; recorded votes on those routine items were "MCU" (motion carried unanimously).
Superintendent remarks covered a School & Safety mill levy proposal, ND Finance facts, a budget update, repairs at the Raider Activity Center, fire alarm systems, transportation, and scheduling of committee meetings. The High School Principal and Elementary Principal reported on end-of-quarter dates, events including prom and a blood drive, Reading Month activities and PreK–K registration, and upcoming state testing. The Athletic Director noted the conclusion of winter basketball, congratulated Violet R. for making the All-State second team, and announced the start of baseball and softball seasons March 16 and a 3-on-3 tournament on March 15.
Committee meetings were scheduled (Finance, Negotiations, Hiring, Technology, Building/Grounds, Policy, Curriculum) and the next regular meeting was set for April 8 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 6:57 p.m.
