The Maple Valley School Board set the date for the district school election on June 9, 2026, to fill four three-year seats representing Tower City, Buffalo, Oriska and Fingal.
The board approved polling arrangements: Tower City Community Center will serve as the polling site with hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and all absentee ballots must be returned to the polling site by 7 p.m. Election clerks and judges Connie Boyd, Jodi Combs, Angela McGuire and Rhonda Nelson were approved by a motion from Dustin Theurer and a second from Megan McKay.
The board also approved the clerks/judges by motion; that action was recorded in the minutes and will enable the district to proceed with the scheduled election processes.
