Superintendent Jenna Farkas said district staff investigated contracting bus service and found a potential cost “upwards of $85,000.” The board did not take a formal vote to contract service at the meeting; the contracting cost was presented as an informational estimate.
Facilities staff also reported ongoing work to restore HVAC and boiler systems. Johnsons Control and Huber Electric have been on site to assist with diagnostics and repairs, according to the meeting record.
The board did not set a decision date on whether to contract an outside bus service during the meeting. Members asked for budget and timeline details at future meetings; Vice President Luke Steckler said he is looking for a rough 2025–26 budget by the next meeting.
