Sanford approves $125,452 road mill-and-fill project and $8,000 DPW air-conditioner

The mill-and-fill contract for Peterson and Smith — to be done in collaboration with Jerome Township — also passed 4–1, with Don Whaley recorded as the lone no vote. Council minutes record that the mill-and-fill bid total is $125,452.
The council also approved payment of bills totaling $76,755.37 at the same meeting. Council members framed the road project as part of routine maintenance and improvement; Thompson Township collaboration was listed in the motion as a coordinating partner for the mill-and-fill work.
Procurement outcomes will move the projects into implementation, subject to scheduling and any necessary coordination with Jerome Township.
