The Holland City Council on July 15 approved a multi-item consent agenda that included a resolution to transfer funds for fiscal year 2027, an engineering design contract for the 32nd Street water‑main replacement and a corresponding FY2027 water capital budget amendment, and the sale of 4036 Hillside Trail.
Clerk Brenda reviewed the consent items before the vote, which also included a pool table license and a social district permit resolution, procurement authorizations for vehicles and equipment (a 42,000‑pound gross vehicle weight snowplow dump truck with upfitting, two mowers and a Gator, two 2026 Chevrolet Colorado four‑wheel‑drive pickups, and four Chevrolet Tahoe police pursuit vehicles), and an award for tulip‑bulb purchases.
A council member moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded and carried on a roll call with all listed members voting in favor. The motion to approve the consent items was recorded as moved by Corbin and supported by Freeman. Brenda called the roll for the vote; the council declared the motion carried.
The approvals were presented as routine items previously reviewed by council as part of the meeting packet and were enacted in a single motion, per council procedure for consent agendas. No member requested that any consent item be removed for separate discussion.
