Chair Richard Anthony said Keach‑Nordstrom Associates (KNA) is reviewing the regulations and expressed a preference to complete the updates in 2026. Planning Technician Shea Ramaker said she will reach out to KNA to establish a timeline.
Why it matters: Rules in site-plan and subdivision regulations determine what applicants must submit, what the board can require of developers (for example sidewalks), and the timeline for municipal review.
Ramaker presented a rough draft of a conceptual consultation review checklist and the board agreed to start using it; members emphasized that applicants would not be held to the checklist during a conceptual consultation, meaning it is advisory at this stage.
The board also discussed how other communities handle sidewalk requirements and suggested consulting RPC for examples. Chair Anthony said the updates might be done by RPC or by the board itself but directed staff to contact the consultant to move the process forward.
Next steps include staff outreach to KNA to secure a timetable and additional follow-up at future Planning Board meetings.
