Wakefield zoning board continues PAC Self Storage stormwater review to Aug. 12

The Wakefield Zoning Board of Appeals on July 15 continued the PAC Self Storage special‑permit application for 50 Corner Power Parkway to the board’s next regular meeting on Aug. 12 while the developer completes a stormwater review with the Department of Public Works engineering division.
Chair Tom Lucey said the board had received a letter from attorney McGrail requesting the continuation and that the board would need final engineering information before making a decision. Lucey asked the applicant to "submit anything we would need further to render decision," including a draft of conditions and a statement explaining "why the application meets all the criteria for the special permit in your view." Counsel indicated the applicant is coordinating with the town engineer and expected to supply the drainage documentation and other requested materials before the August hearing. A board member motioned to continue the matter to the Aug. 12 meeting; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote (5‑0).
The board did not set additional conditions at the July 15 session, saying it wanted all final plans and the engineering memo in hand to decide whether to render a decision that night or defer further to September if needed.
