At its Feb. 3 meeting the Village of North Palm Beach Planning, Zoning and Adjustment Board recorded three formal actions: approval of the January 6, 2026 minutes (motion by Member Thomas Hogarth; second by Member Mark Michels; 6-0 vote), approval of a site plan/appearance request for awnings at 36 & 44 Yacht Club Drive (motion by Vice-Chair Jonathan Haigh; second by Member Cory Cross; 7-0), and denial of a variance for 137 Dory Road North (motion by Member Thomas Hogarth; second by Member Cory Cross; 7-0).
Chair Donald Solodar also reminded members of a Village-sponsored Advisory Board Dinner on Feb. 21 and staff announced the next meeting will be March 3, 2026. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. and adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting record notes that board members received three emails opposing the Dory Road variance and that Village Attorney Leonard Rubin swore those giving testimony in the quasi-judicial hearing. The record cautions that anyone seeking to appeal a decision must provide a verbatim record per F.S. 286.0105.
