Pulaski council authorizes Verizon tower lease, appoints members to Board of Zoning Appeals

The council moved to authorize the town manager to execute the lease and related documents. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with all members voting aye (Miss Cope; Mister Dawson; Mister Klontz; Mister Erickson; Mister Burchett).
The council then considered Resolution 2025-37, a resolution appointing members to the Town of Pulaski Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA). A motion to adopt the resolution was made, seconded and approved by unanimous roll call.
Farthing said the tower lease’s first-term rent is $900 per month for five years, with renewal options, and emphasized the practical benefit of space on the tower for the town’s radio systems. Council did not discuss any local monetary appropriation in this session related to the lease beyond authorizing execution of documents.
