The vote was 5–0, with the condition that the applicant secure public safety sign‑offs and notify abutters.
Finally, the board approved Republic Services’ annual truck rodeo, a closed company skills competition, slated for Aug. 29, subject to inspections and department sign‑offs. Select Board members noted the permits had been reviewed by department heads and that inspections were scheduled for the event days.
