Wrentham select board appoints new members to cable advisory, school building and CPC slots

Kathleen Hallett was appointed as the Verizon sub‑subscriber representative on the town’s cable advisory committee, with a term effective immediately through June 30, 2029. The board praised her volunteer experience; Selectman Bill Harrington moved the appointment and Selectman Jim Anderson seconded. The motion carried on a 5–0 roll call vote. Chair Chris Gallo asked Hallett to be sworn in by the town clerk.
The board also appointed Christine Dupras to the Roderick School Building Committee to fill the position designated for the town budget official, with a term beginning immediately and expiring June 30, 2027. Town manager Mike King explained Dupras would fill the slot previously vacated when the manager moved positions. The appointment was moved and seconded, and approved unanimously.
John Longley was named the recreation commission’s representative on the Community Preservation Commission (CPC) for a term through June 30, 2027. Board documents included an email from the recreation commission confirming the recommendation. The Select Board voted 5–0 to appoint Longley.
The appointments were routine and uncontroversial; the board thanked each appointee for volunteering and asked staff to complete any remaining paperwork and swearing‑in formalities.
