Town staff had previously explained that the Webb family is working to clear belongings and expects the property to be vacated in advance of closing; staff said financing is in place and they expect to close after the family finishes cleanup. The council also noted that the proposed easement will be conveyed to the Virginia Outdoors Foundation, which was presented as the intended holder of the conservation easement.
