The City of Juneau EMS reported two equipment issues and reminded members of upcoming training deadlines during its April 14 meeting at the Public Safety Building.
During committee reports the recorder said the department’s maintenance team flagged two items: "the light bar on 2351 needs work and 2352 auto pulse is out of service." Members were asked to note these outages as they schedule coverage.
Training updates noted that refresher classes should be completed by the May meeting, and a refresher update was scheduled for June 30; members were told they should have new printouts of required classes on file.
The items were recorded as committee updates; no formal motion to fund repairs or change operational status was recorded in the transcript. Follow-up and assignment of repair work were not specified at the meeting.
