The Industrial Board of Coffee County met May 20, 2026, at the Coffee County Administrative Plaza in Manchester and unanimously approved the meeting agenda, both sets of April minutes and the April financial statements.
Jaine Colley moved to approve the agenda; Sherry Douglas seconded and the board voted unanimously to adopt it. Later in the meeting Scott Hansert moved to approve both sets of April minutes as written, with Greta Dajani seconding; that motion also passed unanimously. Sherry Douglas moved to approve the April 2026 financials, and Brent Parsley seconded; the board again voted unanimously to approve the financial reports.
The board received the Executive Director’s Report as part of the meeting packet (Attachment 1, Executive Director's Report, May 2026); the minutes record the report was provided but contain no additional discussion of its contents. Chairman David Young took a moment during his report to recognize IBCC staff for their work, saying a community member had called to commend the team’s responsiveness and partnership with local organizations.
Several standing committees — Park Development; Marketing Support; Budget and Finance; and the Tullahoma Area Economic Development Corp. — did not meet and offered no reports. The board recorded no new or old business. A motion to adjourn, moved by Greta Dajani and seconded by Brent Parsley, passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 4:24 p.m.
The minutes are signed by Assistant Secretary Madeline McLaughlin and Secretary/Treasurer Brent Parsley.
