Chicago Ridge board approves payments, adopts consent agenda including Right‑of‑Way agreement with Zayo

The Village of Chicago Ridge board approved multiple expenditures and adopted a consent agenda that included a Right of Way Use Agreement with Zayo Group, LLC., at its June 16 meeting.

President Lind called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. and the board completed roll call. Trustee McFarland moved and Trustee Meslar seconded a resolution to expend funds per a June 16, 2026 resolution; the record lists total expenditures of $153,218.05. Trustees voted unanimously to approve the expenditures.

The board also approved payment of invoices listed in the record. Noted vendor amounts included Kasperek charges of $390 for audit work, $3,535.25 for consulting and $2,877.50 for year‑end services. On roll call, Trustees Davenport, Kowalski, Lenz, McFarland, Meslar and Siegel recorded AYE votes and there were no NAY votes.

Approved consent items recorded in the minutes include: approval of the June 2, 2026 minutes; authorization for the Las Islas Marias VW Cruise Night on June 19 at 6 p.m.; a raffle license for the 4th Annual Team Joey 22 Party on July 25, 2026; and approval of the Right of Way Use Agreement between the Village of Chicago Ridge and Zayo Group, LLC. The minutes do not list financial terms for the Zayo agreement.

The board took no roll‑call opposition to the consent agenda and no amendments to the listed consent items were recorded.
