The Northfield Board of Health on June 24 took a series of routine actions: approving an invoice, accepting prior minutes, and approving a septic system permit.
Invoice and payment: The Board approved Invoice #2 from Charles K aniecki, Special Health Agent, following a motion by Ruth Potee and a second from Dan Gray; the minutes state the invoice will be sent to Bryan Smith for payment and that approval was unanimous.
Minutes: The Board accepted the June 10, 2026 minutes after a motion by Kathie Bridges and a second from Dan Gray; the motion carried unanimously.
Permits: The Board approved a septic system plan/install permit for 459 Millers Falls Road; Ruth moved to approve, Kathie seconded and the motion was unanimously approved.
Other business: Pumping reports and the NMH Laundry bi-annual report were reviewed. The Board noted a Franklin Regional Council of Governments emergency training scheduled for June 25, 2026, and clarified that perc tests done 20 or more years ago need reconfirmation with new holes.
Adjournment: Dan motioned to adjourn, Ruth seconded and the meeting adjourned at 6:42 p.m.
