The Rogersville Board of Aldermen on May 4 approved accounts payable totaling $270,689.49, covering the general fund ($39,412.89), water/sewer ($207,395.00) and park fund ($23,889.60). The motion carried on a recorded vote of the four aldermen present.
Administrator Chad Bybee provided routine updates: information on C‑2 zoning in the board packet, completion of chip sealing on Center Street with striping to follow, and clarifier work at the wastewater plant reported as about 90% complete. Chief Laughlin reported the police department received a $10,000 grant from Webster Electric to support body camera updates.
Assistant Park Director EmmaLee Fielden presented an award from the Missouri Parks and Recreations Association to Adrick White for his outstanding service to the city parks program; Fielden noted White is graduating from Logan Rogersville High School and will join the military in July. The board extended its appreciation for his service.
The meeting also included planning and zoning discussion items and the failed rezoning readings for the Flat Creek 3rd Addition (Bill 04062026C). The board adjourned at approximately 6:57 p.m.
