The board approved an IT/security service contract described in the packet (vendor name alternately recorded as 'Farcom' and 'Barcom' in the transcript) for one year at $9,009.60 to be paid from the IT budget. County staff said the contract was reviewed in closed session and by internal reviewers before the motion to approve; the board authorized the chair to sign.
